No, it would look much better without it there at all. why do you have to advertise on a product especially if it makes it look like a billboard?

I agree NWMAXIMA.COM shouldn't be on there. I was wondering if the lettering would wear off?

NWMAXIMA.COM is there because that's my forum. I and a friend own it.

I thought some of you would like it for it's originality, that's all.

It's engraved - it will never wear off.

The guy I got it from is pretty cool, and warranties his work forever anyway.

As far as the 'advertising', it's not like I have a big NWMAXIMA.COM window banner people, it's just a shift ****!!

But you are are entitled to your opinions, of course - I personally like what I see now, but I haven't actually received it yet or installed it, so who knows? Maybe I'll decide I hate it once it's installed. But I think most likely I'll love it.

They make a chrome dipped one - I'm not all "bling bling" - not into that - I like this.

So I get the concensus that everyone thinks this is ghey.

I didn't mean to sound mean. I just think it would look alot nicer without the site name on it. If you want to advertise your forum then give away a free little mirror sticker like the maxima.org sticker I just think it looks a little to busy but other then that looks

I think it only looks busy in that pic because of the angle the pic is taken from.

I guess I'll see when I get it in.

I think it looks pretty sweet Ian! I don't know what everyone else's problem is, it's not like you offered them for sale to everyone, it's your own personal shift ****. Maybe they just don't get that?

It's called a MANUAL transmission, we push in the clutch and move the shift lever. We don't push a stick forward or backwards to shift our gears

I said the hater thing in jest....

I was thinking the comment I stated above before the hater thing would have made you understand that, but I see your limited intelligence has struck again.

I welcome everyone's opinion. I have no problems with that.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Custom shift ****

you have got to be one of the biggest fcking b!tches on this board..

you cry about your springs.. you cry about your boost, you cried when Cranman started another group deal on VI's and people suggested Cranman over you, you cry about you insignificant POS shift **** which happens to be a 5spd shift **** on an automatic..

you need to grow the fck up you big baby.. life is to short cry about every damn thing that comes in your way..

you also think you know every damn thing, people told you what was wrong with you boost but you insisted it was something else.. i among others told you thta your springs were upside down but you insisted that installing springs upside down wouldn't make a difference and boom.. you re did them and it was a huge difference..

next time i won't ***** up any of your threads giving you advise about your fck ups on your car, yeah you can drive it around with a fcked up spring installation and maybe you might blow some more drive train parts like you did when you had your sprints.. God only know if you were blowing axles from a fcked up installation, you already proved that your assumption of your knowledge of cars is way more than your skill.

In the beggining of this thread people said they did not like the NWMAXIMA.COM on the ****.. and they are right, it looks tacky, that is the first thing that stood out at me. I look at the **** and that link is out of place, but who knows maybe you just put it there in the picture to get more people at your site. So what if people don't like your **** ****.. get the fck over it and grow up you little b!tch.

your **** looks like ****, your car is still slow as ****, and you are still a whining little b!tch.

Good Night

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Custom shift ****

Every single time you've offered me advice, I retort with something to the effect of "Yeah, you're probably right, but is there a chance that.....?"

You say "No", or others say it, and I take their advice. No biggie. I may ask more questions, but I listen attentively. I may ask "Yeah, but shouldn't it work this way" and they say "no" and I then try what they said and see the outcome....sometimes (most of the time, because maxima.org is a great board) people here are right, sometimes it's something else entirely.

But you say I REFUSE to listen to people...BS.

If I refused, I would have never flipped my springs over. I even said "Yeah, they're upside down, but I don't see how that would make it sit lower. - But that's cool - I'll give it a shot, and hope I'm wrong."

The only reason I even asked about the springs one last time was just because I wanted to be 100% sure they were upside down before spending all day flipping them. As soon as I was sure, after posting a pic, I took YOUR ADVICE and flipped them over. I even thanked you for it, and I thought your little flame war with me was over. But no, you start it again by jumping to conclusions without reading the thread completetly.

Turns out I was wrong - big whoop. I'm always open to others opinion.

My boost was never fixed - WTF are you talking about? - every sugesstion on this board was tried with the utmost vigor, and it was never fixed completely - what suggestion did I ignore?

This was a totally cool thread until you started typing. I'm not crying about anything - I asked for an opinion, I wasn't sure about the **** myself. If I don't like it, I'll buy another. I just thought the idea was cool, and wanted to share, and see what people thought.

I'm in no way dissapointed that some people don't like it - I'm always cool with people's opinions - they're opinions.....I never even said I was mad about it, I EVEN went out of my way to say "Oh well, I asked for other's opinions, so that's cool"

WTF am I about??

Cranman and I are, and have always been on very good terms - I've never whined about anything with him - I think it's cool he's selling lots of MEVI's - I don't make jack on them anyway. We talk fairly often.

I don't even know when this started, or what I did to get this kind of **** from you. I think you just like to belittle people. You certainly do it to alot of us on this board.

So many people PM me or E-Mail me whenever you get like this and say "Don't worry man,he's just an azz."

I think I'll just take it as such - it seems to be true.

Thank you everyone else for your remarks.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was thinking in the beginning- but never got a chance to say it before all that started.

The NWMAXIMA.COM was sort of a B-Day present for ebmorgan, because it was his B-Day and it's his site. So I don't mind it at all. Best friend since 8th grade....

Converting to a 5spd in a couple of weeks....
This was the last piece. (Besides the ACT, which will be here Monday)

I may ask "Yeah, but shouldn't it work this way" and they say "no" and I then try what they said and see the outcome....sometimes (most of the time, because maxima.org is a great board) people here are right, sometimes it's something else entirely.
but your asssholish nature to tell people they are wrong when you are blatantly wrong is just fugging amazing. You went into detail to explain how springs installed upside down made no difference, and if i didn't know what i knew that great explanation you gave sounded so real..

I'm not flaming, SprintMax, but I think you are wrong.

A spring is a spring - whether it's holding most of the wieght from the bottom or top, it's still going to compress the same with the same rate if the same weight is applied in either direction - progressively wound or not. That which is tighter on top is now tighter on the bottom - but it's still tighter somehwere.

I don't think flipping them is going to fix my sagging problem the more I think about it.

Of course, I'll do it anyway, because it should be right - but it's not going to help.

that was your post... you sounded so damn convicning too.. even lime got to own you in your own post.

your posts speak for themself. as you put it in your post i quoted above

"Of course, I'll do it anyway, because it should be right - but it's not going to help."

If I refused, I would have never flipped my springs over. I even said "Yeah, they're upside down, but I don't see how that would make it sit lower. - But that's cool - I'll give it a shot, and hope I'm wrong."
you only did it because you were desparate and 10 people told you that you were wrong but as you clearly state... "its not going to help"

But no, you start it again by jumping to conclusions without reading the thread completetly.
hey buddy.. you attacked me. I gave you simple advice. "don't post things if you can't take critism". i post **** all the time that i know 50% of the people won't like..but i don't sit and cry about it. Get real man 1/2 the people on this board know you are a crying little b!tch.

obviously not ... read your reply to the first few in this thread.

My boost was never fixed - WTF are you talking about? - every sugesstion on this board was tried with the utmost vigor, and it was never fixed completely - what suggestion did I ignore?
go search.. awww damn.. it doesn't work..

This was a totally cool thread until you started typing. I'm not crying about anything - I asked for an opinion, I wasn't sure about the **** myself. If I don't like it, I'll buy another. I just thought the idea was cool, and wanted to share, and see what people thought.
the thread was never cool..people told you they didn't like the writing on the **** and you were rude about it.

I'm in no way dissapointed that some people don't like it - I'm always cool with people's opinions - they're opinions.....I never even said I was mad about it, I EVEN went out of my way to say "Oh well, I asked for other's opinions, so that's cool"
after the fact you said that.. your first repsonse was not very comforting. This is the internet.. people have a right to tell you to shove the **** up your **** if they want.

You don't even have half the mods you say you have actually installed yet.....but you tell people you do. 9:1 compression? - no, not yet.

I don't even know when this started, or what I did to get this kind of **** from you. I think you just like to belittle people. You certainly do it to alot of us on this board.
what did i do to get the **** you posting.. stop being a fcking b!tch.. you attacked me and i came back at you.. everyone likes to insult and attack people but the minute people answer you.. you get defensive and you are the victim.. scroll up and read assshole.. you attacked me you fcking b!tch.. how the fck am i belittling you when you attacked me? because i point out your faults that 1/2 the people on this board already know? because i am one of the few people who will tell it to your face?

rule of thumb on this board. Don't attack me unless you are ready to get return fire.

like i give a fck about those little b!tches who like to talk behind backs. Some has something to say to me? they say it in the open. If a person is scared and a b!tch on the internet.. what the hell do they do in real life? hide in a cave?
