I am not sure how many people appreciate what was accomplished today. To knock off almost 1 sec off of an already fast time is nothing short of spectacular. The HP increase to do that is incredible and I know how much it takes to reduce your time by even .5 sec at the 14 or 15 sec level.

A lot of work, time, money and effort is required to accomplish such a feat and you deserve mucho credit Matt.

Jim

PS You could have just ran a 12.8 or so so I had a chance at it when the snow melts.

Wow, great job, your pushing more than 400 wheel horsepower, man I need to start working on my car. Very nice job, good luck on 12's. How much does the back seat anhd front passanger seat, jack, and spare weight. Has to be alot. Have you thought about porting your headers, or getting port and polish job or have you already. Maybe that can get you into the 11's easier.

Not too often you see a Japanese sedan make M5 drivers say, "uhhhhhh....I think I'm going to go home now."

Nice run for sure.

Not that much, about 80-85 lbs. I love it when people are like "oooooh stripped interior lets see what it runs in street trim, blah, blah, blah..." The front seat is 40lbs (cloth, non power, non heated) the spare is 30lbs, the jack is 5lbs and the rear bench is 10lbs. Yeah its less weight but it probably contributed to about .05s of his time.

I'd like to see turbo97SE get out to a sea level track and run on slicks, or any of the other turbo boys, Sprint, Harold, Kev..

the Maxima has come a long way
I remember some time ago when theblue's mid 14s were a to everyone, now people are running low to mid 14s all the time and not to mention all the 13 second, and now 12 second cars.

good job everyone!

Sweet. As soon as my car is out of the autobody shop, in goes a even bigger turbo and time for retuning my Link with the good ol lappie. Bring a truck, I might need to be towed home. laugh:
