DAMN 117mph traps woohoo.

Why the 4K launch... too much spin otherwise? How much better do you think the launch can get with your current setup (without changing anything).

The reason I ask is because I was hoping for 1.8s once I get an aftermarket clutch but seeing as you are putting down 2.5 times more power than me I am having doubts now.

what was dons record? tink it was also a 12.2

mardi you have got to be happy, i remeber how bad you wanted to be in the 12s.. did you try out jimes trick with the spring clamps ?

Video? no but I have several witness's, none of which are texans

4k launch? Yes spin, but it may take more if I go lower than 13psi tire pressure. I think 1.85 is about as good as it will get as it sits now.

I didnt look at the boost gauge, but the air temp was ~60f so prolly 14psi peak at redline. 35 shot of juice.

Slicke are 25x8.5 M&H

I did not do any special tricks to the springs like Jime does, but I plan to. That should give me at least another tenth maybe more.

IIRC Don ran 12.212@112.38, some are sceptical, I will take it for face value. 2nd fast's is ok for now, I should make it past 12.2 soon enough.

Still NOS stuff for now.

Yes spraying the whole time.

MIR is located in Mechanicsville MD, which is 30-35 miles south of DC. MIR just recently made significant upgrades to the facality and is top notch. They said over the PA system that there were going to be several nationally televised events there this season.

I saw the 12.22 run as well. The track was running a single lane at the time so Matt didn't have a chance to smoke the 21 year-old babe racing the jet-powered dragster.
