I'm driving a 4 door Chevy Cavalier as I get some minor body work done to my Max. What evil in life did I do to deserve a Cavalier? Only 333 miles on the Cavalier and it's already a POS. LOL.

hood and fascia work

I had a truck tire tread hit me on the highway. Put a nice tent in my hood. Did about $400 in damage.

Re: wut about

I thought about it, but my insurance won't cover it. They made out the check to the body shop and my name, since I still owe money on it. I will probably get a new Maxima in 2003 anyway. Gotta get the 3.5 VQ. For now it's a 3 speed 115 HP Cavalier.

Re: phew..

Amazingly the headlight didn't crack. It took a huge blow and there were black marks across the lense and all over the front. I almost fainted when I checked out the damage at the hotel. I knew there was going to be some type of damage, but not all that black stuff. I was amazed that none of the paint chipped. Most of it buffed out with a damp rag. Looks like my wax job from the previous week saved me some damage.

You couldn't rent a Max?

As some of the rental car agencies that I have been to at airports, they will allow you to rent a 2K GXE. But of course that is in a big city and at airports. Also I am not 25 so I get stuck with the POS Dodge Stratus. . . (I think it cost me something like $50/day not including insurance only 3 more years).
