I just did a H&R / AGX drop last weekend. You're more than welcome to take it for a ride before you spend your $.

What are the drop numbers between them?
either way, both cars look really good.

I had H&Rs for 6 months.....
-hated the drop (got asked all the time if I was even lowered )
-handling was good
Switched to Sprints 9 months ago...
-LOVE the drop, as does anyone who see's it
-handling is excellent, better than H&R.

Sprints/AGX = PERFECT ride and handling

IMO i feel the sprint ride is extremly harsh thats why i chose H&R
and when we are talking about height difference... sprint is one finger lower in the front and one finger higher in the back than the H&R..so its really not that big a deal to me either way

May be because I have RED sprints?

Sprints are definately lower, but they are very harsh and you have very little wheel travel left. I love watching Soon2BMaxed and BSwithTF cruising down the road going "bouncy, bouncy" I've had Suspension Techniques, Intrax, and now H&Rs. The H&Rs definately give the best ride and handling characteristics. They might lean a more in turns, but they ultimately stick better because there is still wheel travel left. Watch the M BMWs race thru the turns and notice how hard they lean. Lean into a turn is not a bad thing.
I'll admit that H&Rs don't look slammed. That's not look I was going for. I just wanted small wheelgaps and an aggressive stance. The H&Rs gave me that. There really is something to be said for a spring that gives you a 1.7" drop and rides very nicely on moderately rough roads with 17s in the dead of winter. In the summer when the car seems to be softer, the ride is amazing.

Sprints are supposed to be 2" but it's really like 1.7-1.8" from what I've seen.
I am wondering if B&G springs would be the best compromise between low drop and somewhat factory smoothness.
They are 1.7" and fairly even, maybe a little sag in the back, but H&R sag is worse..
I have H&Rs waiting to be installed but i've been getting very skeptical. However, I NEED soft springs in New York.

I just installed b&g's hoping to lower my car a little more than my eibachs did and also have a better ride. After I installed them they were actually higher in the front than the eibachs and the ride didn't really change. Is it possible for the b&g's to be higher than eibachs?

The stock front end gap is almost 4" and the rear is ~3.5". So you're looking at approximately a 1.7" drop in the front and a 1.4" drop in the rear with the H&Rs. Sprints lower the front more like 2.5" in the front. Not 2".
