front end shakes, any solution?

I get the feeling that a vibration is starting in the front end that I can feel through the steering wheel. I know the Max has a little no matter what, but I do get the feeling it's more than normal.

Should I bother to check wheel balance or is there a known issue? My car has got about 73k. I have this funny feeling that there is more clunking going on in the front end now than there used to be. Does this thing need new bushings? Thx.
