245/40-18 rubbing question...

I know I should know this for sure already, but without search I just need confirmation. I just lowered my ride and went to discount tire and ordered some 245/40-18s as I've seen on many a ride around here and I just wanted to confirm that no one had any rubbing with them. I'm on Maxspeeds/AGX and I'm in a GXE (more turning play). The discount guy said it might rub and that just got me thinking is all. Thanks

I'm lowered on H&R's and running with 255/40/18's with no rubbing.

The 555ZR's for the 19" wheel are gonna run me about $200 a peice. Im gonna go with 245/35 which in diameter is actually 0.1" taller then the 245/18 so u should have absolutly no problems whatsoever. I was think of goin 255's but the sidwall is gonna be too damn thin, I want some air to be in the tires.

18x8, haven't picked out the perfect one yet, but there are several 8"ers I like. Can't wait, after lowering it just screamed for fly wheels

Depends on your offset and suspension travel...

with 35mm offset almost no rubbing when going over bumps unless you have the Motivation1 shortened front strut and/or rear strut mount. No rubbing when turning steering wheel at all.

You should be fine if you have a 40mm offset.

45mm offset has some rubbing when doing full turn lock (per MaxedBandit)
