Chrome Guage Rings

Chrome Guage Rings

Does anybody no where you can get those chrome guage rings for the 5th gen. I've seen them on alot of cars and I don't know where the people get them.

they do, however, require modifying the cluster since they are made for 4th gens.

The large rings have a larger circumference than the hole in the plastic cluster (by about 1-2 mm). To solve this problem, you have to make the holes larger by shaving away some of the plastic. A dremmel tool is perfect for this job.

Actually the big ones are perfect fit ...its the small ones you need to trim the ID a tad. Easy work if you have a dremmel. I did it, got them from Sy and it adds a touch of class to the dash.

Me too, I dremeled, gotta be precise or you could mar the front of the cluster and that would be ****. Got mine done in 15 minutes of careful dremeling. I'd probably use sandpaper by hand if I ever did it again though. Now it's mad fly, even added a little super glue to help hold on the smaller rings. The glow at night is awesome on the GLE/GXE black faces
