Should have told that to the person who painted it on while I was having a beer.

Because they are idiots and have no respect for other people's things.

i hate people that vandalize other people's property...and i have built up a deepful hate against against these fools.

if you ever find out who did it, please beat him with a baseball bat.

my car was smashed up in a parking lot too, and i think i know who did it, and if i ever see him, the baseball bat is waiting for him in my car

It was parked downtown Appleton behind Jekyll's on Friday night. It is dark there and hard to see from other areas, just didn't think crap like that would happen around here, obviously I was wrong. Don't think I'll be parking there anymore. Lit and busy parking ramps for me from now on.

I took my car to Nissan one time b/c they had parked it to close to something when it was repainted, it got a little overspray. I asked the guy to buff it out, guess what he did.....He used Paint thinner. Took it right off w/o harming the paint. He said as long as it doesn't get baked to the clear coat, you can use paint thinner to clean it up.

i belive it says "UNIT-E" as in "UNITY" unless there is some fellow who refers to his package as "E." than "UNIT E" would make some sense.

and sorry about the car. i hope you find who did it.

We did use thinner to get it off. That worked pretty good actually. It still needed a little rubbing with compound in some areas to get it all off. The car is actually shinier now in that area, but unprotect at this point. Other panels have more of the same treatment and the problem areas are the trim pieces like up by the window.

Yeah it says unit-e as in unity as Romeo said. There were several other cars and objects hit in the area with other slogans. My last thread got deleted ripping on them so I'm keeping my mouth shut this time.

thats horrible news bro, when you used the paint thinner didnt it screw up your "real" car paint? you said it looked shiner, but i'm sure it must have stripped right throught your clear coat

that sux! glad to hear you were able to get it off. i'd be rip too but it coulda been worse. it can always be worse i guess.

someone wrote ricer or something like that on a kid i know's talon with some kind of paint marker and it didn't come out so easily. just makes me mad that people touch other people's cars. it's one thing to not like it, heck, i dislike lots of cars, but i'd never touch them if i didn't know them and had no real reason.

I feel all sleuthy about this... (maybe I'm bored ) Do you live in apartment or work in a building that has a Unit E, or is your Unit.... E...? Maybe the guy from Unit E (whos spot you keep parking in) saw your car downtown, or whereever, and left you an anonymous message?

Chances are its just some punk with nothing better to do, and who thinks hes, making a stand against something totally stupid...

If your clear coat is dry and hardened It's safe to use the thinner. It did however probably remove any wax and protectants I had on the car. Luckily spring is close so I can detail the outside soon. Buffing the car is what made it shine. Needed to do it, but would rather have done it on a nice day than at 4am.

Like I said above, other cars and objects were hit too. Due to some of the other verbiage written around the area, it seemed like there was some cause he was vandalizing cars for. Funny thing is one of the other cars is a guy that works at the same place and me!

I feel the resentment, I had my max egged twice over a span of two months, both times it left damage as i was asleep when it happened. I cant stand people that do this to other people's property. I'd love to find the guys that messed with my car and beat 'em senseless. Good to hear you got the damage repaired.
