AXLES- how to tell between auto/5speed

Im going to be buying some manual axles soon for my 5sp conversion so I wanted to know how can I tell if I recieve 5sp ones? are they marked on them so that you can know if you have the correct ones? I just dont want to end up finding out that I recieved auto ones inbetween the install thats all.

The passenger side is the same, but the drivers is different. I'm not sure how to tell unless you put them side by side. The manual is a little shorter(or longer) but it is different.

ic, thanks for the pic. But, is there a way to tell because I still have the auto axles on the car so its hard to put them side to side to compare.

Here is a pic of the auto axles... I don't know if you'll be able to tell a difference between the two or not...

they're exactly the same....auto/maunal...there's no difference...when i had to replace my driver side axle, the shop didn't have any for the 00...but, the shop did have a 97 AUTO axles(both driver/passenger) and i tried them....they fit exactly the same!! so i tried on the passenger side...they were exactly the same too!!

While I was doing the conversion, I seem to recall that the drivers axle was only slightly off. It would fit in but add additional stress to the bearings.
