1992 NX2000 in KY. $2000 OBO

1992 NX2000 - 125,000 miles 5-Speed.

Runs great. The engine is is great shape, no problems other than it is a little hard to start when it is very cold. But it always starts up. I've had it for 3.5 years and it has always started up every winter. Im replacing it for a 4-door car because I have 2 boys and it hard to get them in the back all the time.

I'll start with the bad:
-I wrecked it a few years back. It only affected the rear quarter panel, strut, and strut tower. I got a whole new quarter assembly from a nice NX in a junk yard and had a body shop guy weld it on. He is a professional and did a great job. It has been like this for about 3 years with no problems, besides that its maroon. The wheel is perfectly aligned and does NOT cause any tread wear problems.
-The ebrake cable is frozen. I had bad calipers on the back for a while and never used it, and now it doesn't move. I have a new one that works, I just haven't installed it. I may get a chance too, but either way, its included.
-The muffler is rusted out in the bottom, so its kinda loud. I've put up with it for a while, because it doesn't sound horrible, just louder.
-Hatch struts don't keep hatch up when it is VERY cold, fine rest of the time.

Thats really the only problems, nothing that would effect drive-ability.

The good stuff:
Just put in a new transmission that is also out of a 92 with 125K miles. (crazy!) The throw-out bearing went out, and it was leaking and grinding a little, so I just got a newer one that has NO problems or 5th pop-out.

New Clutch disk and good PP from a B15 sentra.
New OEM Throw-out bearing.
New Rear main seal - changed it while I was in there.
New reverse sensor- just came with the tranny
New axles- Nice ones, $120 each from Orielly with warrenty
New front motor mount, the rest are fine.
New Power Steering Pressure hose
Newer rear calipers, rotors, and brake pads.
Front brakes are in good shape with plenty of pad.
Replaced the exhaust secondary, so no leaks other than the muffler.
Cruise Control parts not installed, but included. Everything.
Eibach pro-kit lowering springs
Intake adapter and cone filer.
CD-player, but the screen is dim most of the time. Plays fine. 4 all speakers replaced, door speakers with Alpines.
T-Tops DONT LEAK
Fog lights work.
Brand new Energy suspension motor mount inserts included. ( Only front dogbone installed)
Some minor rust spots. Nothing really major. I'll get some more pics.
New Power Steering pressure hose
New High Temp Thermostat - so it will warm up better in the winter. New coolant.
Fuel filter, plugs, wires, clutch cable all have 20K on them.
Tires have good tread left. I'm not good at guessing % wear, but they have 20K on them too and look pretty good.
A/C works great! I replaced the condenser with a good one, along with one of the hard lines and replaced ALL the O-rings.
Power mirrors, manual windows and locks.
Its not perfect, but its well worth the price.

And it runs and drives great. I fixed all this stuff over the winter because I was planning on keeping it. I am going to be traveling all over the state for a year and was planning on keeping this car for the good highway mileage. There is not a doubt in my mind that it would run just fine, all day on the highway. But with another vehicle and insurance, I think I would rather just sell it. $2000 OBO

I will update this thread with more pics, including engine and interior, when I get a chance. Right now its tucked away in my garage for safe keeping....under the airplane
