those new eyelid type things...?

is there a write up anywhere on those? how much do the materials cost and how does one go about making them? they seem to clean up or finish the lights off better. plus, i have a paint chip near my bumper lights and am looking to cover it up. they look really good on every car i've seen so far and feel bad copying those people's ideas, but they should take it as a compliment others want to make their cars look like their's.

so...can anyone point me in any direction?

sorry if i wasn't exactly clear. i don't mean the old original style eyelids that are body color. there was a thread a week or two back but i can't find it that someone with a silver max had done. he used what looked like the weather stripping material and it went around his headlights/clearance, and he also put it around his bumper lights. it was black and basically looked like it sealed the lights in and really looked nice. anyone know what i mean?

the post was just last week unless i'm crazy and dreamt it. i'll give up if no one knows...but it basically looked like the rubber that goes around the windshield and rear window. some people said it almost looked like mascara.
