I just wanted to warn you guys about NOPI. I bought a conical filter from them on 8-21-2000 and today the damn thing broke. It seperated right where the filter meets up with the plastic part of the filter element. So I took it up to them with my receipt and they said they don't warrant that. I said "So, I could buy a SC from you guys, it could break and half and you would just say "It's not warranted". This smartass punk was like "Yup". I just wanted to let you guys know beacause I don't want you to waste your time or money with a company that doesn't carry good quality parts. I know that I will never buy from them again. It's one thing not to cover the parts you sell, its another to have crappy customer service and NOPI has both.

What brand is the filter? if it's not a NOPI brand, then it's not exactly their fault.. they DO carry quality stuff, and I've had good relations with them when buying parts.

It's unfortunate that you got a bad deal there, but I know lotsa people who have dealt with them many times and never had a problem.

Dont buy online from NOPI

I ordered Sprint springs from their web site, the order was completed, and I waited for my springs. Well they never showed, so after 3 weeks I called, and they tell me "oh we have no record of your order and we are out of stock anyways". I took my business elsewere and I actually got the springs for $50 less than what NOPI wanted!!! My advice, buy from NOPI if you have to, but if you can buy from someone who actually wants your business because with customer service like that, they must not really want your business.

It was a MAX wide Funnel Ram

So I think that it was their brand. Just make sure to keep your eye out for them. Buy from them if you absolutely have to, otherwise keep clear of them. I'm local and I can deal with them easier rather than someone out of state.

Hey Justin !!!

The SEMA/NOPI show is taking place in Long Beach CA next month. I thought I'd drop by and check it out. Anyone in particular at NOPI you'd like me to pass your respects on to?

No, it's not worth the hassle.

I'll just go buy a K&N and be done with it. I'll know to be very wary of them in the future, and I thought that I could trust them. What a shame. Even if it was a bad product the very leas that they should have done was give me a new one considering that it was only 5 months since I bought it and I did have the receipt.
