Anyone know these codes?
Anyone know these codes?
Does anyone know what these codes mean:
7 long and 5short = EVAP control system
9 long and 3short = EVAP canister vent control valve,
I don't know what they mean, does anyone know what they mean?

These are pretty common codes, since you can't do a search, here is one for you. You can actually take the canister off and clean it yourself, you should find some instructions in one of these posts.

There are about 20 checks in the FSM that are possible causes.
0903 = An improper voltage signal is entered into ECM through EVAP canister control valve or EVAP canister vetn control valve does not operate properly..
Again a number of check in the FSM
This stuff is all located near the rear left tire.
Had the same codes... replaced both the cannister and valve with OEM from Courtesy. Think it was 75 shipped? Would have to go back and check.
Anyway, ten minutes to R&R both items in the dark, in a driveway, while holding a flashlight with one hand.
You should definately check your local dealer prices. I saved 60 bucks through Courtesy, but YMMV.
I did get an extra week out of mine without the ECU code after cleaning out the valve with WD40. After that, it just kept coming back so I just replaced it.
You only have to replace the cannister if it weighs more than so much... but I didn't feel like finding a scale, and it is the cheaper of the two parts by far, so I just replaced it.
