I do not know a whole lot about cars but am getting very interested after getting addicted to this site and seeing all the cars. I want to get some rims, but Im not sure if it is the right time with winter here in Chicago. Salt is everywhere at this time and I do not know if this is a good time to purchase them. I really think they would look ghood on my 95 GLE
What size???
Thanks
Mark

TRY TO WAIT TILL SPRING

It will be better IMO to get your wheels in the spring.. I would go with 18" if I were you.

You can buy them now if you wash them regularly and take good care of them...but, I must warn you, you're gonna wanna lower it too when you see those beautiful 17's with the HUGE damn Nissan wheel gap

If you want a set of rims then get it! If your worried about the salt and weather, just leave the factory rims on till springs & summer. I have 2 sets of rims so it works for me. Chrome rims for the spring, summer, and fall. Then my MB Motoring rims for the winter w/ snow tires.

As far as size. Both my sets of rims are 16x7. I would say either go for a 16x7 or 17x7.5 for the Maxima.
