how to ship wheels???

If i deside to ship my wheels, what is the best way to do it? they are wheels and tires? Where do I get the boxes? Who should I ship them with? How much will it cost approx?

you should find a wheel company that has some boxes bigger than the wheels you have to put them in and use UPS the cost should be about $100.00

I thought maybe you had one close by or go to any store like Wal-Mart (furniture stores)and ask for some big boxes ord like Boxes.Etc or Office max or Office depot just whatever is in your area!

Send through Fed-ex Ground...it's a lot cheaper and faster than UPS.
Just bubble wrap the wheels and boxes are optional. Should cost like $15 per wheel to send across the county vs. UPS's $40

what do you mean boxes are optional?

when i had my wheels sent to me, all the there was was 2 round peices or card board protecting each side of the rim and taped really well together, and some of that plastic binding shizit, worked well

You could try going to a tire/wheel dealer, like Sears or Discount Tire, and ask if they have any boxes that was used to ship wheels in it. They prolly give it to you for free. Make sure that the wheel fit inside the box to prevent it from moving around a lot.

that bubble wrap method seems very cost efficent, and if its sent via a provider liek Fed-ex, i wouldnt be too worried about theft
