I just bought a 91 Galant VR-4 from an older guy who has taken very good care of the car. It has AWD and a turbocharged 4 cylinder and a 5 speed, and it hauls ***! Almost as fast as my S/C Max but not quite, but damn does the car launch and handles like a dream!!
I bought it for $4000 and it has 52K and he had all the service logs for the car. What do you guys think and what can I do to make it even faster...

Wow, sounds like you got a great deal on a very tuneable car! Nice low mileage too! Just about any engine mod for an Eclipse will work on your Galant as well.

Upgrade to a G16 turbo. That should start you off good.

 

....you have a car that has endless upgrades, it's like having a 4 door eclipse. You can check with HKS, Greddy, Blitz, Tanabe, APEX, HRC, ...etc for turbo upgrades, exhaust, suspension, fuzzylogic boost controllers, larger injectors, bigger intercoolers...etc. Also buy "Turbo&High-Tech Performance" magazine for information about turbo products it comes out monthly like Car&Driver mag.... good luck.

Good buy, again its like an eclipse with 4 doors so mods are basically endless. But be careful, some of my friends have Eclipses and from what Ive seen theyre the worst cars Ive seen (engine quality). Their cars are constantly in the shop with major problems, Ive never seen cars break down as often as theirs do. But they do haul azz. Good Luck.
