I was wondering--since the winter is coming soon, if anyone has any good suggestion as to what a good type of window lubricant is. I hear that we shouldn't use wd40 on the tracks for the glass --but some other type of lube--would anyone know of any good lube?
=) thanks

heavy weight

gear oil would be safe.. i could be wrong.. wd40 is too thin and might dilute the lup that's already on there..

Yeah, spray it anywhere that the window touches the weatherstriping.

JMax2k,

where would one be able to get a can/bottle of this spray? and is there a specific name brand to get? I have some silicon spray at home, but I am not sure if it is "dry Silicon"-- are there any difference between the types?
thanks =)

Im not real sure what the difference in types are. I just went to a local car parts place, and got silicone lube spray. Im not sure of the brand. I dont think the brand matters. As far as I know silicon is silicon.
