My day was going good, *read*
Hey guys, I had a good day so far but it just wasnt my night, went to my friends house and parked my new 99 5-speed on the sreet "which is a hill" ok you can already guess the scenario, I knew that some people leave their cars in gear when they park etc.. but me being a noobie 5-speeder says ebrake is all good, the thought of it failing didint really cross my mind honestly, so my friends go out to get pizza then come back in the house and go george you may want to come out here, Car is 1/2 down the hill smashed into a wall on the right side...MY first reaction was did i hit anyone or anything, thank god NO.. The damage assement, Bumper is crushed in..Right tail is busted and my fender is destroyed some what, rims r fine and the doors are fine, Thank god nothing else happened, i was sorta upset with myself but i took a step back and tried to work with the postives, 1. Noone was hurt, thank god. 2. I learned a lesson, 3. Im gonna price out A skyline bumper a set of altezzas to paint black and basically ask the body shop how much to pull and bondo the fender and paint the stuff. Overall im upset but hey **** happens. Thanks guys. Any suggestions on a kit with a nice bumper plz post!

ew that is some bad luck man, I am sorry to hear! that is a reason i dont like turbo/turbo timer haha, I cant leave my car in gear on hills without waiting a minute or two haha , but most of my life I am on almost no incline
it is times like this you have to just be happy no one got hurt and just be able to step back and let it go, what can you change about the situation now? nothing.. it happened. it will be funny later in life (or immediately if you have a sick sense of humor as i do haha)

Oh ya sorry man, that sucks.
You wanna know what happen to me. I was driving and the right side of my car went through a puddle and guess what, the whole right of my lost grip of the road. I went 100 feet completly sidewasy down the road tires smoking like crazy and everything. Luckily I turned it straight, lucky me. Anyway I would of probally died becuase the car felt like it was going to flip over and there was traffic coming down the road.
That will teach me never to drive more than 40 through a puddle around a curve in the street.

You could turn your wheels in to the curb, so if your car starts rolling, it'll stop when it hits the curb.
That's what people who live in San Francisco (and own a car) do to prevent their cars rolling away.
