a little off topic
my dad just bought a 2002 530i. it has 13,800 miles on it. some guy who couldnt afford it traded it into an acura dealership. my dad paid 37,000 for it. it looks and feels brand new. it has the cold weather and luxury package. anyway i got to drive it some last weeked. it handels really nice and the engine feels really strong, very quiet.
comparison. well obviously the bmw is better, but i still feel pretty good about my 99 se. for the value of a max you get a really good engine. id be curious to put the two side by side in a race. mine is manual and my dads 530 is auto (with the tiptronic).
one thing i found odd was that the oem tires are continental touring tires that seem kind of cheap. it seems like theyd put better tires on a car like this. id like to see how the car drives with some michillen pilot sport tires.
anyway, sorry to be off topic, i tried to tie it into maximas.
