accidentally lowered my car??

for the past few weeks my front right springs or struts have been making a creeking type sound, especially over bumps. the sound went away about 3 days ago and yesterday i noticed getting into my car it seemed a lot lower. i get out and look at my wheel gap and surely enough it is much smaller. and my car handles much better now too. is it possible to blow your struts or ruin your springs and that cause the car to sit lower?? the ride is fine, but the creeking is gone, my car is lower, and it handles better. WTF!! i am confused.

or maybe someone just decided to put on a pair of springs for me when i was sleeping out of the goodness of their heart

Sometimes cold weather can ruin struts, congrats on the free upgrade. You say it handles better, but what about the ride?

I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder

this has nothing to do with your car being lower.... I suppose it must have finally settled? lol....

Either way , the only thing that is affecting your height now is the springs. It is possible that the springs are also loosing tension, I've seen this happen on a set of sprint springs on a friends car.

the ride has not really changed, atleast i dont notice it. but it is definatly lower, and handles much better, but the weather here is 75 one day and 40something another day. its rediculous. but anyone got any ideas?? i had planned on getting agx and maxspeeds anyways, but not for another 6 months or so. i just dont want to be driving around at like 60mph or taking a hard turn, and then my struts completely give out and i die or something.

anyone got some advice?
