it may last a bit. I would imagine it would bounce around.

I assume you want to get the springs on now cuz it's almost summer and you wanna cruise in style(I do, gotta get me some springs)...so you figure you don't have to cash for struts/shocks and you just wanna get the springs on till you save up the cash. But look at it this way, if you get the springs installed now then buy the struts/shocks later, you have to disassemble and reassemble your strut/springs twice. I don't know if you're gonna pay to have them installed or do it yourself but either way it would be to your advantage if you did both at once (you either save $200-$400 or save many hours)

Anyway, you can put your maxspeed springs on your stockers, but they will "eventually" blow out...

I have Maxspeeds on stocks.
I've been going on them about 6k miles now.
It feels about the same as when they went on so far.
It's true what Gotrice says. about doing basically 2 installs.
I did it myself so it's just time but I wouldn't have paid to do it twice.

I wouldn't mess aroud. Spend the extra 200-300 and get some KYB GR2's, or tok blues.

Maxspeeds on stock struts/shocks, that's my setup. The ride is
about the same as stock (95SE 5sp) with a modest drop to get rid
of the 4x4 look. I did the install and will do struts/shocks when
they wear out (65K miles as of now). I'm very happy with this setup.
If you are paying for an install, it's probably better to do both
at once. For me, I love spending a sunny afternoon workin' on my Max.
