Is this a good deal?

My friend has an option to buy this maxima:

2001 Nissan Maxima SE. Spoiler, power locks, doors. Anti-lock brakes.

7,000 miles. Serviced every 3 - 5 months.

$12, 850, before tax and title.

Is that a good deal?

7,000 miles? I'd get a carfax and try to see if that's right.

loaded 2k's go for like 14-15k with normal mileage. I would think this one should go for around 15-16k private party with base options and in good condition appearance wise.
