Hissing sound under the hood

Hissing sound under the hood

when ever i give a little gas... i can hear some hissing sound under the hood.... like some air is sucking in through tight spot or escaping does anyone know what might be the problem?

and it's not the intake

it's the intake.........everyone with one has it alittle, and it's usually worse if you have a midpipe...nothing wrong with it though

not if he only gets it when he's giving it gas....but it could be the belts too, depending on the side

don't think it's coming from under the car so i don't think it's the y pipe and as for intake, it just started to make those hissing sound. well as long it's not something serious i'm not going to worry about it too much.

What kind of mid-pipe, if any, are you using. I built mine, and it did that same hissing sound for a while. I put some high-temp epoxy around where I made the holes in the mid-pipe...no more hiss!

Was gonna say the same. That's if you have an after market intake.

I have the Frankencar Intake for 5th gen but i had the intake on for while now but it all of sudden start to making those sounds.. weird...
