new dash kit

sup guys, i just got the new dash kit from AP-Signworks.com its made by PICI and man does it beat the hell out of the JT kit. I use to hate the look of all those breaks so the 3 pieces made into one is awsome. I should have some pics up by wed or thursday for ya to see

one problem

I looked at the pic on the website and it looks like the piece up top may hinder your ability to get behind your dash. *The new top piece that connects defrost button panel with the temp control, radio. You need to pry that top piece off in order to remove the dash-to install a radio, fix wires etc. Seems like a lot to give up for the different look. Just my opinion.

new kit

i asked him about that and he told me he's had the radio switched out twice since hes put the kit on, i asked him how and hes finding out from the person who did it how its done

It turns out that when the stereo shop took out my dash, they did pry up the kit some and then just put it back down. If anyone wants to remove their radio a lot, the kit is available with the climate control piece as a separate piece. That's how it originally was, we just combined them for a smoother look. All you have to do is specify which one you want when you order.
