Well I recently sold my 4th gen max and ended up buying a new grand cherokee (for college purposes etc, please don't ask or flame) but I realllyyyy miss the max. The power, luxury and most of all the build quality. I just put my jeep up for sale this morning and decided to buy another max. Currently looking to get another max but this time a 5th gen (2000 or 2001). Anyways just thought I'd let everyone know I'm coming back!!! Well the veteran's may remember me but the newbies may not, and Sprite I sent sil the $ and he got it...

 

Why not get a 02 or 03 six speed?

 

Because he likes us 5th gen first series people.

how long did you own the cherokee for rookie?

 

I had the grand cherokee for like a month and a half...its a really nice vehicle, moonroof, heated leather seats, power everything etc but for a 17 year old kid it's too big and not fast enough- it was kind of an impulse buy....anyways I will keep everyone updated on me selling this and getting another max- anyways how much should I expect to pay for a used 00 or 01 se with decent mileage and condition?

haha...that reminds me, with the max it was like putting fuel in and changing oil and thats all...for the month and a half I have had the Jeep it has been in for warranty 3 times! It feels like it has 150k and not like a new Jeep at all...hence me going back to the Maxi
