I am considering a new ride, 2001 gle. Noticed Nissan is following the Detroit crowd and now there are "options". What is the deal on the traction control? Is it worthy for normal So CA driving, occasional cross country trips.

 

get the SE, and get the 5-speed manual man....or if you can get your hands on an anniversary edition.. i'm driving a 2000 GLE that i got a GREAT deal on, but trust me if you go with the auto GLE and you're reading on this forum about people who spent LESS on their cars and are faster than you by half a second stock, you'll be hating life forever...like me....considering your options between a 450 dollar transmission upgrade that will still not make you as fast as a manual, and a full tranny swap which will run you oh....3 grand...yeah... while you still can make the right choice, go with an SE 5-speed or AE.
