ok heres the deal...when my car was stock i felt comfortable racing anyone.. the car hauled a** now after stereo, rims, and intake... i feal the car is SO much slower. i can do a burnout anymore (the 17s do have alot to do with that) and i feel like the torque is so much less ... so now that my car is modded and people want to race i am hesitant about even racing a stock max. I raced a 2k maxima auto and lost by a car length (i did get a bad start but thats not an excuse).. what is the deal?

 

Likely the weight you added to your car and your wheels. Also, the 2ks are fast. I mopped a stock GLE 96 other then his intake by 3 car lengths and going from a light. So that doesn’t mean your car is broken

 

Um, race me. I am stock except for a stereo about as big as yours. That should be a good comparison.
