Hey I get alot of mixed reviews about carparts. Everybody who talks bad about them usually has a problem with the time it took to get their stuff. I am not in a rush so I don't really care how long it takes. If there are any other problems pls let me know.. 33% sounds real good though.. Thanx

you can't get 33% off right now at carparts.com. That coupon "officially" ended Dec. 31st last year. Importhookup.com lobbied to get the coupon for one more weekend, and that was Jan. 19 to 21st, so you missed out.

However, there is a $30 off a $100 order right now, so you may want to try that out. You've got to be sly, however, and actually only tally your sub-total (before shipping) to $100, or the percent off slowly declines....

Anyhoo, contrary to doug's rousing input above, I've had good luck with them.....

Let's see....order an Optima Red Top Battery for my 94 Max(yes, they sell those) for $104 AFTER shipping, 3 sets of Axxis Metalmaster pads (1 for 99 Max, 1 for 94 Max, 1 for 99 TL) for $110 AFTER shipping, and 2 new wiper blades for $11 AFTER shipping. With a $2 handling fee, it was $227. The Optima was only $87 after the coupon, but the $17 shipping charge made up for it....

Have tracking numbers for the Optima and the Wiper blades, and they will be here on the 29th.....However, the 3 sets of pads are supposed to ship today, so we'll see if that is truthful....

Thus far, I've ordered many things and have only been disappointed with some Bendix rotors (one looked about 10 years old, the other was new), but I was fully refunded for them including my shipping charges back to them. They've really improved that in the last few months.

I understand Chebosto and other's legitimate concerns about carparts.com. They have NO expert customer service, especially when it comes to obtaining part orders. You HAVE to know what you want up front. If you don't know, do not order from them. It will be a waste of your time....

you don't know what the hell you're ordering.....Use a dealer or another vendor to obtain the part numbers, THEN place your order....
