Does anyone know if wrapping the tube that goes from the SC with header wrap make a difference in performance? I saw it on an image of one of the SC owners cars and didn't know what gains if any were realized from doing so.

wrapping..

I would be leary about doing that. It seems that a lot of heat is being generated from inside the tube. Wrapping it would make the inside tube temp hotter. I've wrapped the section of tube/radiator hose that touch each other. That seems to help.
