I'm sorry for the mixup

NO the meet won't be a let down...
WE will still be meeting on sat at etown its just there won't be a show there...

its like this what we were gonna do fri is now gonna happen sat and the show that we were supposed to watch on sat is now on sunday

SO all the people that took off work sat and want to have a meet on sat and do some drag racing will do that on sat ..
and we can still meet there on sat and it might be kinda better cuz we won't have the rice machines revving their POS's at us ... and we'll still drag...
however those that want to be a part of the show . that is gonna happen on sunday .. sat is still gonna be a big day of dragging there and there's gonna be tons of nice cars just not officialy a show like sunday is ..

okay so as of right now this is whats goin on ...
we can still meet just outside etown on sat and on sunday and drive in together ..

I will be there both days...

Saturday is the day i will be there cant make it any other day.I should have company two other maxes + wife& baby

 

ant....no biggie..no matter what i was gonna show on saturday....as of now i have Supa Lao and bl513 cruising up with me....

it wasn't really a mix up...i just didn't want to see things fall apart as people argue what day to go....just lookin' out thats all...

 

I missed that part!!!! I left after the second round because the pit area (for the photographers) was getting waayyy too crowded, so I went backstage and said hi to the gals

Hehe, it was fun... don't forget the cameras! I had a digital camera for all the gals and cars; more gals then cars though. ;P It was like a mosh pit there, couldn't budge. Hey, did ya see the yellow 4th gen Maxima with a 5th gen rear end?? I'll be sure to get there early to get a better view.

 

i will go sunday, if that's when everybody else is going. i will be coming from west chester,pa. west of philadelphia. who ever is organizing this please include me for the caravan if anyone is coming from my direction. (southeast ,pa.)i will be taking 202 south, to 322 to I95 to walt whitman bridge and then i will get on the new jersey turnpike and take that route. any one going that way or will intersect with that route at any point? let me know and it would be cool. i do mostly do the speed limit or 5 over most of the way. so if u guys are racing up there forget me. although i do open er up at times. email me or let me know or else i'll see ya sunday at etown.later.

I've seen that max before. He was at the show in Carlisle, PA and at Maple Grove. Sweet car...

 

he's always at atco too...which is where those pics are from it looks like....i got some nice shots of it at HIN also

here's the deal

Sat is just a regular day so we can all just show up there and they'll be plenty of parkin in the pit area and what not. there is no group discount.. no matter what ..everyone pays as they come in ..

So thats that for sat.. i'll be takin a drive down to etown prolly this weekend and write down careful and detailed directions as to roads and a pre-meet place..

For sunday .. i don't know how many people are goin on this day but if ya'll want to park in the pit area (the show)
we need to get there early .. gates open at 8 but i think if we get there around 9-9;30 it should be fine..
if we want to park together we need to show up together that the best way (what i was told)
personnally my car isn't show class but a lot of people who drag park their cars there too so i'll prolly park in the pit area

i'll inform every1 of a good meet place for sunday too.

well thas it .. if anyone has anymore ques let me know ..
time and place for the pre-meet b4 etown will be posted shortly ..

are you coming down the NJTP...maybe our caravans can meet up and then make one large one from there to the meeting spot b4 the track ...just a thought....

eeek spelling !! - that might be an option - depends cuz im headin down with some bimmers ... **** if i want new tires i have to order soon !!! - they must be cleanin it up or something .... most likely scenario - i think we should do is maybe have lil caravans to someplace on to the NJTP and then caravan to the meet but wed have to be ON TIME !!

 

time is of course the issue...ive done it b4 and it can be done again...just gauge mileage and avg speed say 75mph...it usually works out....also cell phones help a lil too as me and dex found out...

 

Here's an update on my part.

I was talking to the Director of Content at Overboost.Com about the Etown events Oct 7 and 8th. I WILL be there both days covering the event. I will be there bright and early on Saturday to finish covering the rained out Pro Class racing, which will begin @ 10 am Saturday. These racers will be done by 1 pm, which is when the Import Survival Series begins. You may see a few of the big names do some test/tuning on Saturday or exhibition runs, so those that won't be there Sunday might catch some action. If you (Maxima.org members) can grab a spot away from the rest and have all the Maximas park together, that'd make for a nice group shot. I'll make sure I get you guys on Overboost...

On Sunday, all spectators will be forced to park in the far lot and have to walk to the pits. This will keep everyone apart, so it's a good idea to have a meeting spot at several times during the day. Normally, it's not hard to find me since I'm up at the burnout boxes snapping pics, plus I usually wear the bright Hawaiian shirts, but since it's October and will be colder, the Hawaiian shirts stay at home!

We'll work something out as the date approaches.

 

like i said before my friends and i are gonna hit great adventure on saturday, then sleep over somewhere in jersey and go bright and early on sunday morning. My car is very very very far from show quality but i'd still like to hook up with you guys so keep posting info =)
