Had a very bad day? Help!!!

NOTE: I posted this in the 5th Gen forum too. Hoping to get more replies here.

I went to waterford today and the brakes were feeling extremely ****ty. I thought that the ppl who bleeded the brakes did a bad job so perhaps that's the reason the pedal was so spongy. Anyway, in the third session the brakes were so bad that I couldn't even brake. Well took the car to the dealer to get the oil changed and I told them to bleed the brakes. The mechanic came back saying that he had absolutely no idea how I even survived 2.5 sessions today. The front right wheel bearings were so bad the entire wheel, rotors, calipers would shake when he hoisted the car and tried to move the wheel (i guess that's not supposed to happen). The left is messed up but no where as bad as the right side. He recommened that I dont' drive the car until it's fixed.

I don't understand how the bearing can go bad in 45,000 miles. Could it be due to lowering the car with stiffer springs and shocks and that may be putting too much stress on the other components? Or could it be that the brakes get so hot at the track that they compeletely boil the grease in the bearings and caused 'em to get messed up? Or could be the nasty wheel hop?

I don't know what to do. If this is going to be a recurring problem, should i put the car back to stock. It's going to cost me close to a grand to get this fixed...

Anyone else have had the bearing problems with their lowered cars?

I've had the car lowered for only 10,000 miles and been to the track only 4 times. btw it's a 2KI 5spd

Opinions/comments please....

Sorry for this being too long. It's just been a v. bad day.

I had my passenger side bearing/hub replaced two days ago because they were torn up. I only have 26k miles and stock suspension!
