This could be quite a deal for someone looking for a nice clean Max. with low mileage. It is not my car, just thought I would let everyone know about it. Any thoughts?

What, no way 322 miles and he is only up to 5,000! That car looks flawless! Something does not seem right...

I don't know guys, could be legit. I have seen some idiots hold on to 84 Camaros and try to sell them now for what they paid for it then. It happens.

It doesn't, it is between 2 and 3. Look at it again. I thought the same thing when I saw it the first time.

Get the VIN and check it out. If it's ever been inspected, the mileage was recorded. If it's never been inspected, then we can assume it really has been in storage. If it has and they rolled it back, call the

One thing stands out to me. The drivers seat definately has not been sat in. Over time, the leather starts to get shiney as it wares down. That leather looks absolutely perfect, no signs of ware or shine from your a$$ polishing it up as you get in and out.

Yes the ODO looks strange, but like some said, it looks like it's bewteen the 2 and 3. It's a manual reset and if the reset button isn't pressed hard enough it doesnt spin all the digits correctly.

it is clean...but who has a car for 8 years and only puts 321 miles on it...doing the math...that is exactly 0.109 miles a day. My crap detector is going AWOL!

That's exactly what I looked at also. Those seats have definitely been used very very little. Even if the guy got replacement leather surfaces, the foam on a well-used car would have flattened. The foam on those is still "fluffy" like a new car.

Also check out the engine bay. Pretty darned clean. Did notice a non-Nissan battery. Also would make sense if the car really were stored for 8 years...the original battery would definitely be dead by then and need replacement.

What a great deal for a brand new car.

I am not looking for one. However, if this one went low enough, I would be all over it.

it does look mint
but is it good for a car to just sit there and not be drivin at all, i mean he must of never took this thing out, i wonder if he ever changes the oil cause it sat there for about 7 years.

Carfax only shows one vehicle history - sold at auction on 4/24/03 as a fleet vehicle. No other records or mileage. It does show it has been through 9 types of registration.

I call BS on this car. Who has a car inspected etc... and never takes it out. I mean when you buy a new car it has like 40 miles on it. That means he only drove like 270 miles on it for what reason? What year was it sold on auction according to car fax? However, this car does look very clean.

Even if its not BS which I think it is you are definitely not doing good to a car for not putting any miles on it in that amount of time.

Case in point: My g-ma had a 91 Saturn. She drove that thing maybe a 100 miles a year b/c it was her summer car in Florida. After about 8 years my mom and dad inherit it after my g-ma's passing. That thing was a piece of ****...ran like crap, the brakes were rusted out, there was rust everywhere (well what wasn't plastic). It burned oil like a ***** and spewed blue smoke.

So the engine probably runs like shat if it does only have 300 or so miles on it.

Nice find. but it does seem rather odd for a car that old to have so very few miles on it.

If you guys think about it, there is no reason for the trip-meter to be between 2 and 3 hundred. the 100's spot isn't at 99, sot it wouldn't be turning unless it was fudged with.

yujp ypu got it on the head bro. I was wondering about that and trying to figure out if there was any scenario that would make 210 change to 310 for some weird reason without the last two digits being in the 99s. I call part bs

Is it easy for someone to do a roll back?
or to install a new gauge cluster?
Can you just "unhook" the odometer?

Either way it looks like a nice car from the pics..

so who is seriously going to bid on this????
Might as well air it now so you all don't jack up the bid hehe :>
I would love to swap all my stuff into a nice 95, but I still have a loan on my 97 as it is.... I would do a direct trade for my 1997 92k miles :P

So will anyone go check this car out in person?
