Walbro Fuel Pump grind?

I am getting my fuel pump put in and it is a pain in the poo hole. How much do I need to grind to get it to fit. Right now with the pump in the car, my car won't start. We can hear the pump working but it does not allow any of the gas to get to the engine.

About the grinding, the mechanic said that if it is ground too much, the fittings might not be so tight and this could mean that my fuel pressure will be all over the place and will tail off at times.

Any solutions? I'll be waiting by the computer.

Thanks

I am looking at the order sheet for the fuel pump and it says, "GSS342 Hi-Pressure intank fuel pump ofr 1922-2000 Honda Civic". When I ordered the pump, I ordered the one that was just a fuel pump by itself and not a kit.

Did I get the wrong one? Right now we are trying to put the pump in without the fuel filter on it.

Any recommendations?

The fuel pump was grinded too low and now the two plastic tabs are opened and the fuel is running through these holes. Any problem with putting epoxy in there?

Don't mess with the fuel pump. Better to be safe then sorry. Just get a new one and redo it. YOu don't want your fuel to stop working while you drive. BOOM!!

The epoxy is in and now it doesn't work. What do I do? Any other methods before I buy another one?

How much do I grind?
