its a 95 turbo tsi fwd...it had 85k miles and didnt' have a scratch on the whole body..everything seemed to be good..well 2 hours after picking it up i'm driving and the front right wheel comes out and the car drags the wheel..the ball joint broke and the axle came from the transmission case!!! mother i was pissed...is this a common problem???? no @#@(*# car should do this...what if i was doing like 70 on the highway?? i would have been done..

damn binh that is f-in horrible...from the subject i got a lil excited till i read the post...where did you get it? dealer on personal seller?

 

Take it back where you bought it and yell at them. Tell them they almost killed you, threaten legal action. Maybe they will pay for the repair?

 

You have 24 hours on any large transaction like that, so if somthing goes wrong. we almost did that with my bros car (in retrospect, we should have too)

 

Get them under the Lemon Law as long as it wasnt sold "As is"
