Re-Paint Section of Bumper

Still don't know how this happened, but someone rubbed a section of my bumper down to the black plastic underneath. The section is the size of a nickel. How much would a shop charge to prime and paint a section that small?

I know, I know...but it's in a very noticeable spot and I have more money than my wildest dreams (right).

So if a spot is $150. How much would the whole bumper be?

A whole bumper will average run you about $250-300..

not that I have used the product..but have read some threads on buying primer and paint from www.paintscratch.com. Both come in spraycans. I am tempted to do a lil paint work on my car this summer, and this is the avenue I was going to persue.

i agree, for something that small in size, i would definitely recommend paintscratch.com touchup paint, they match perfectly, especially for darker colors

I believe that all "scratch removers" do is smeer the surrounding paint into that scratched area, giving the illusion of a "rmemoved scratch"

Oh, I meant to repaint the whole bumper. At least here in OKC. Most places won't do something the size of a nickel, especially if its all the way down to the plastic. Plus, they have to reclear the whole bumper anyways.

Wow. I was hoping they could just touch up the one spot...not repaint the whole bumper. I'll shop around.
