simoniz system 5 ?
simoniz system 5 ?
hey, anybody use or have applied this teflon coating system to your car?
"through authorized automobile dealerships, an exclusive paint protection process that contains Teflon, called Simoniz System 5. Simoniz System 5 is the only paint protection system in the USA and Canada that is fortified with Teflon. This process is so effective that our warranty protects your vehicle's painted surface and resale value for 5 years unlimited mileage."

I'd be very skeptical. Even the Meguiars sight has a quote from a technician from DuPont (maker of teflon) basically saying that DuPont sees no advantage to adding teflon to a car wax. If it really was that good, why did all of the other companies that did it years ago stop adding teflon? (you know the ones that set the hood on fire, hit it with a laser, spray painted, etc...). Just something to think about.
