does anyone else see something really wrong with this car? Am I the only one that catches this, or are 3rd gen VQ30DE transplants common?

actually I think it is just an underhood shot of a similar color 4th gen. I also did not know that Jackson racing made a SC for 3rd gens.

i agree.

and even the pictures of that 3rd gen all look photoshopped. i dont think the car is really that color or even has those rims. look at the side shot of the car. the 2 rims are in exactly the same point in their rotation. clearly photoshopped on.

also if you notice in the front shot the kit is straight but the car is tilted and there is a gap that is black, which leaves me to believe that the car is actually black. just my .02

you guys didn't notice the biggest flaw of the side shot....how does the back door open with that kit in the way?

Also, he runs a 11.5 @ 163 and he only has 261hp? Must be a pretty good driver!

"BS! 163 mph???? Your car will not go that fast. The turbo isn't hooked up! That kit is not on your car. As stated before, photochop. The wheels aren't either. Whoever falls for these photos must've just glanced. Post some real pics of whatever your car has. No max can do 163 in the 1/4 with turbo, nos or supercharger. BS" was my signing his guestbook!

ok that engine is not even his car or photoshoped. it's the picture of a 4th gen. Look at the details on the side like the steering wheel fluid bottle, and the winshield wiper motor is more closer to the right than the 4th gen.

Haha that's a riot. Look at the front picture of his "body kit". The car sits crooked while the bumper is going straight across. Then there's the pic of the 4th gen engine bay with no SC visible, then a centrifugal SC just plopped on there not hooked to anything, then a Jackson Racing emblem. Too bad Jackson Racing makes nothing for Nissans, let alone Maximas, and the SCs they do make are roots type, not centrifugal. Oh, check out the side view of his spoiler... he tried to give it some perspective to look like the right side of the spoiler is "farther away" than the left (near) side but he went way overboard on that. Pretty sweet.

4th gen engine compartment
[/B][/QUOTE]

If you look closer you can see that the engine compartment was painted. Like on the fire wall, and around the reservoirs. Then if you look at where the FSTB mounts are...it's white!!!
If you go through all that trouble to paint the inside engine compartment would you also get where the FSTB mounts also?

The only photochop i saw was the belt driven turbo pic that he stole from a guy here on the org. The real picture was on a white 3rd gen.

Correction..... the first thing that caught my eye. I see the rest now. This car is horrible.

11.5 secs/163 mph in the 1/4. With only 261 or so horsepower. Must be his gearing....
