I remember when my dad let me drive his maxima for the first time. It felt real fast. It probably has a lot to do with why I bought my own maxima when I graduated college.

Re: I am Maxima Police.. You are under arrest..

Hey, the Maxima is a pretty fast car when you are used to 4-cyl engines. One of my housemates has a 97 Civic and when he into an accident he got a Mazda 626 for rental and told me how the 626 was faster than his Civic. Well I just got a 626 for rental too since my Max was in a minor accident and man, this 626 is a real dog. So, it's all relative.

I was out rifing my 1100 cc Ninja ZX11 when I saw the Max I liked and bought it. I test drove it w/in 5 minutes and it felt slow, but not like a total dog. So I bought it and traded in my bike. Rememeber that bike did 0-60 in 3 sec and 0-100 in under 6 seconds. I topped it out at near 180 mph!!! COmpared to that-the max is slow. BUT I love the car and think it's fun to drive (5 Speed of course)

Not really. I'm kind of a daredevil and those bikes are actually made for that stuff. Very stable at high speeds. It did 135 in the 1/4 mile! So I didin't need much open road. Give me a mile on the hwy and I'd hit a quick 160 and back down to an easy 90-100 by lifting the throttle. Max is still quick though. Had mine upwards of the 140 mark with sunroof open! Cruises nice at about 120...
