My car has developed a really strange squeak when I go over bumps. I have no idea what it is. But it sounds like it's comming from the back of the car. I'm going to take a guess that it's the poly bushing on my swaybar. I know you can't just use any kind of lube. Because some types of lubes will break down the polyurethane. I was wondering what is safe to use. The sqeaking is pretty loud. Very annoying. I hope its nothing more serious. Then again, if my suspension is blown. =) Hee hee.. I can get a new set.. =) But I just took the car on a 110mph, 45 mile trip and the car felt very stable.

Go to a marine supply and get water proof trailer grease it is the same stuff that Energy Suspension packages but it is alot less money.

I sprayed the bushings down with some water before I left the house. Seems to have solved the problem for now. I think it may have been all the salt and dirt trapped in the bushing. But if the problem comes back I'll try the trailer grease. Thanks

Prothane Super Grease

You can get it at Summit Racing. It's made just for the poly bushings. Here's the part number 19-1750 and it's made by Prothane. I bought some not that long ago, but haven't had chance to try it.
