Can't find black spline lug nuts

Gorilla and McGard have black spline lug nuts. But everywhere I look, they're expensive, or only carry chrome. I'd like to spend $40 shipped or less. Is that even possible?

Are you looking for something like the Kyokugen?
If so, try wholehyper.com I think they have them in their wheel/ tire area.

kyokugens suck after awhile, the keys socket always gets stuck on the nut and might or will strip over time

no, kyokugens are heptagonal (7sided). I don't want it for 2 reasons
1) they're open-ended
1a) the rims I got, don't have lug covers
ab) I don't want rusted lugs
2) 7sided means more easy for socket to slip. Imagine a 90 sided lug...nearly round.

Thanx tho! I did consider them and they are cheaper $35.

Anybody know anything about spline lugs?

Not sure but I thought that TireRack.com and Tires.com have McGard. I could be wrong though

Summit Racing has them for $85!!! I can't believe these things cost so much.
Just emailed TireRack about them. I couldnt find it on their site, but I know they carry Gorilla products, like lug wrenches. Thanx for the tip!

ejj, thanx for the tip. I've seen lots of those around for cheap. but I wanted spline. In addition, that style forces the lugs to be longer, and I didn't want my lugs to protrude.

redmaxpa007, I hear ya. I'll keep watching the forums. thanx

www.JCWhitney.com type in lug nuts.. made by Gorilla, they are $29 + shipping. Closed-end, tuner lugs, anodized black. I'm going to order that exact thing for myself in a few days.

They also don't have it in black...I called them...they don't have it. It would hafta be special order, which's 2x the web price. rrrr. I don't understand why our smaller lugs would cost more than a freakin honda's lugs?!

I don't know how often you make it to OC, but there is a place in Anaheim called Wheel Warehouse. They can get any spline drive lug nut you want from McGard. Only problem is it costs money of course. Those lug nuts are NOT cheap at all. I had originally ordered a set of the black chrome spline drive and it was $160!!!! But I ended up using chrome, looks better on my wheels. Same price though, But yeah they are tough to find. If you want/need Wheel Warehouse's number and address PM me.
