i sure hop you plan on installing a cap or two with that JL amp....

my reccomendation would be atleast 2farads for that amp.

It pushes more. Its at 1100 RMS is what I belive it was tested at but peak, well dont go there 2K+

Looks like it might be done this weekend.

Good stuff...

the place i bought the Xtreme Dynamat ran out after telling me 3 weeks later when I called to see if they shipped it yet....so now I'm advised to install system first & see if I need it then install it...i most likely will reading stories in the audio forums....

Phatman5050 aka Zach had one problem a little while ago. The rear deck wil rattle like hell, you have to remove it and cutout a foam layer and reinstall. PM him for more info on this, im not sure exactly what he did but this is necessary.

Yeah, I believe some peeps in the audio forum noted rear deck rattlage on the 5th gens even with the stock bose sub. But it's been a l'il while since I've been paying attention.

I regret not having some sort of dynamat application w/my install, after a years worth of pounding. I swear the rear pillars/headboard & sunroof/etc didn't make that much noise before I subjected it to bass, and my treo can't compare with the W7. But my ride is old, it's been scientifically proven I'm at least partially crazy, and some things dynamat won't help (such as the rear deck it sounds like)

dynamat or not tho, I have a feeling your summer is gonna be a lot sweeter now
