funky headlight...please help

as of last night, my driver side headlight is out, yet when i put my highs on, both lights come on... why would this be happening? obviously the bulb isnt burnt out or else neither high nor low beam should work, correct? and its really a pain cuz in order to change that light, im gonna have to take out my intake... are there any drawbacks to driving around w highs on all the time?

Your low beam filament burned out. need new bulbs. Its typical for hyperwhites to burn out quickly too. Get some Sylvania Silverstars, they'll last much longer and have a crisp light output.

Yeah, you will blind incoming traffic or who ever is in front of you. You might get pulled over by the cops. It happened to me.

Defintiely don't drive with high beams. Even though it'll be nice and bright it's annoying to anyone driving in front of you and oncoming drivers..

Yeah, its your bulbs. That happened to my blue ricer bulbs before I got the Cool Blues. I drove with my highs on for about a month. I never adjusted my headlights after I got my Sprints on so they were pointing at the ground anyways so nobody got blinded. Regardless, just buy some new bulbs.
