Hachi-Roku exhaust

I'm wondering what exhaust setup sounds the most like a Hachi-Roku with an AE-101. I just realized how much I like the tone. Thanx.

please dude, you're trying to compare an inline-4 8k redline note to a vq30 note? you will never be able to reproduce that sound on your car. stop watching initial d.

The AE86 is not a piece of ****. I do agree the skyline is 10x better, but the point of Initial D is: It's a driver's race, not a car race on the "togue."

Of course, if you are drag racing, it's a totally different story.

On any real world road course, sheer horsepower will only get you so far. While a good deal is dependent on chassis and suspension tuning, the skill of the driver is far more important.

You should see the kind of cars my friend Pete (a godly driver) can outrun at Willow Springs. In his stock-engined (but heavily modded suspension), automatic '99 Altima.

I agree with JsL. IMO, the whole theme of Initial D is that the skill of the driver is far more important than the abilities of the machine.
