Wood Blocks so the car sort of steps up to onto the alignment rack.

Ask AnGe about getting the car back down the ramp

She threw a chunk of 2x4 into the wall pretty hard!

I was still scraping with the wood block. I was watching my car go up and it was freaking painful.

I'd just take the lip off. When I had mine done, I didn't dare watch

Anyone have problems jacking up the car by lifting from that "knuckle" on the black beam that runs lenthwise under the engine?

holy **** Tom... how can we forget about that. My car launched a 2x4 missile all the way across the shop I don't think they'll let me back there again

Use 2x4 wooden block, have someone lift the front of the car from each side (by the fender) to help bring the car up onto the ramp. If you car is that slammed, scraping comes with the territory.

I used Daniel B. Martin's suggestion to jack up inboard from the jack points. My jack doesn't clear the front lip at all.

I use that jack point all the time and I've never had a problem.

Only thing I gotta do is jack up one side with my small jack first so I can slide the big jack under my front lip, it's too dam low
