SARD FPR may have takena dump...

ok so i got my idleing problem fixed.

now i have another problem.

my fpr will stay at my WOT setting.

i am trying to figure out if i have another vacumm leak some where or if the fpr took a dump.

has anyone ever experienced this problem with the SARD fpr.

i checked all vacuum lines and again can't find a leak.

any thoughts

it is problem after another the last 2.5 weeks. and it is beginning to waredown my patience level.

Aren't those adjustable? Tried fiddling with the adjustment? If you have vacuum to the sard, then it's probably not a vacuum problem(unless the signal is really low and can pull back the FP at less than wot).

Mine crapped out on me last week, I'm going with the aim fpr now...

The sad part is i bought it 6 months ago, and sard is no longer available in the U.S., it's gotta be imported from japan - this means that no warrenty is implied.

My sard fpr crapped out on me last week too, i'm gettin an aem fpr... Also sard isn't available in the US anymore, so there's no luck trying to get it warrentied out - i've only had mine for 6 months

trace that vacuum line to the source and see if there's anything wrong with the line. vacuum at idle is usually about 17-19in Hg.

Like SX7R said, it sounds like you have a vacuum leak, which is simulating WOT conditions for the SARD. Re-check all lines again. Good luck JDM.....
