***PICS*** Installed Hanabi 8000k HID Foglights!!

My driver's side foglight lense cracked about 2 months ago. I ordered a pair of new ones from JR Nissan and decided to go all out and get Hanabi 8000k HIDs to match my heads
The install was a major PITA but I took my time and got it done right.
Thanks to Freddie for the deal

Here's 3 Pics:

The bulbs are H3 which fit 4th and 5th Gen foglights (after some modification to the housing and inner shield)

I got them from Freddie (97GLES), contact him for a price on a kit

8000 k color = blue light ... A smaller number below 4000 k will give a whiter (less blue) and closer to stock (?), but not yellow ...

Right now Freddie only carries blue 8000k kits. There are a wide range of kits out there in all color temps though...

Nah I like the look of just the heads and fogs. I don't wanna have 2 different blues up front. The main reason I got the HID fogs is because I can't stand non-matching bulbs...plus visibility is even better now if you can imagine that.

Next is chromed engine bay. All the parts should be back from Sadler next week

After that I'm done with expensive mods for a long time.

I have clear bulbs in them but I'm not running them, they're unplugged. Front end looks much better without them and all HIDs

Tony great job!!!!!
the headlights are so clear i could still see the diamond cuts with the hids on.

car looks really good.

when you have a chance take a pic of the hids from the drivers seat. you must see every pot-hole now.

this is why the 8K kit is #1 in new york.

Yea the new headlight housings really made a huge difference in how the HID's look and project light onto the road. The new fog housings look sweet too, crystal clear!

I can see every grain of sand now, forget about pot-holes!!

oSs, After seeing BigDogJonx (Dixit)....he's got everything you have, but he's got the turbo.

It's gonna happen man. One day. You're going to have $3,500 just sitting around your house. You'll say to yourself..."IT'S BOOST TIME!"

I gotta admit, it was a little nerve-wracking using a 3/4" drill bit to drill a hole in the brand new fog housing's inner shield

Had to make the long HID bulb fit somehow and it worked

I'll try and take some tonight. They usually come out crappy at night from all the light, but I'll at least try and get some of the output on the road.

Nah, I've had the heads since December and haven't been bothered. I actually got pulled over last night for not having a front plate on, no ticket though
