Made my first video...Max VS Supra TT
Well I needed a video capture card so I went out and bought an ATI TV Wonder VE ($70CDN) and used Windows Movie Maker. Here is the result of my first video of me chasing a Supra TT at Mosport, Right Click Save As
this is what it looks like from outside of the car(on a different day though)....http://168.144.104.48/maxrpm/2003/mosport042103b.htm
MaxWolf, He was going pretty good, the video doesn't show the sensation of speed, but I know he can go faster. I talked to him after and he said he was going as he normal would but not crazy, which I still doubt it because last time (my first time on that track) I couldn't hold a candle to him. Still fun regardless! It was my friends old Panasonic S-VHS Camcorder, he rigged me up a headrest mount and the rest is history.
blubyu2k2, yes you should try it atleast once, and when you do you will never look at drag racing, drifting or what ever else the same, they just don't compare, still fun but can't compare. As for tires this particular track isn't that hard on tires, though the smaller tracks I go too are, but your brakes take a beating too. The JICs work very well, though they are a little soft for the track, but I wouldn't want them any harder as I drive it on the street.

I usually use my MP3 Codec to set the compression i like, you can use whatever codec you have or
please.

8:
Once the Audio Compression is select, move on to video, from the Video menu, select compression.

9:
I use the Divx Codec to compress my videos, most Serious Video Creators will already have Divx
Downloaded http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec5.html . You can go to configure and
tweak it how you wish, thats up to you. Key is more tweaking.. smaller videos..

10:
Once you have decided on your compression, you can move on to filters. So from the worded Menu
chose Video and then Filters.

11:
Once you have Filters selected, you will see alot of choices. Use Deinterlaced and click OK

For the Filter Deinterlace.. choose Blend fields together.

13:
Another Filter you can use is 2:1 reduction, however this will make your video half as big as it
is. One thing you can do is capture your video's twice as big as you want them and then use this
feature. However if your video is already the size you want, don't bother with this filter.

14:
Once you have your video filters done, click on OK

15:
Now you are ready to save your new file, go to File and choose Save Optimized As

16:
Now you will notice that i managed to save this video to be 1/2 of its original size and turst me
you will not lose any video quality on this method. I once cut down a 100 mb video to 20 mb
without losing any quality at all. Good Luck!!
