Funny maxima story

As some of you may know I run a detailing business. I had a customer today who had a 96 pearl white maxima that he brought in for a detailing. My maxima was parked in the driveway and he tells me how awesome it looks and all that. Then he looks at the shaved trunk and is like "Ohhhhhhh man that is the coolest thing i've ever seen, can you do that to mine?" Keep in mind this is a 45 year old man with a completely stock maxima, orange bumper lights and all. He wants me to shave his trunk for him, get him some clear bumper lights, and remove the door pillar striping for him. Guess you can make anyone a believer.

Good story.

Don't let age fool you. I'm 44 and my Max has the following:

Tint all around, KYB GR2 struts/shocks, H&R springs, FSTB and RSB. With more to come............ My next mod is probably going to be clears front and back.

Us "older" guys like having fun too !

BTW... i just checked out your home page. Your 97 looks great. Nice job on that.

I was at the grocery store the other night and an older guy in his 50's commented on my car. He said that he had owned several Maximas and loved my car. I asked him what he's driving now and he showed me his brand new G35 coupe with the 6-speed. It all goes to say that Maxima owners are classy people. Well, at least some of them are.

well most maxima owners are around that age. Rarely i see a person under 30 driving a maxima in los angeles. The maxima is a grocery getter...LOL

The same thing has happened to me many times!! Couple of my professors complimented me on my Max'. One of the compliments came from my biochemistry professor, who graduated from Stanford with a PhD in biochemistry!! She drives an M3!
It certainly shows that Maxima drivers have class!!
