Thanks for your response Tony... what is the name of the shop that is doing all your chroming? Can you give me their name, address and contact number (phone, fax, etc..)

Jason,

I was told by one shop onetime that they don't chrome intake manifold due to the fact that the copper (inside the manifold)due to the heat would later on come out and end up getting to the engine possibly causing damage. Is this true?

somewhat.. when chrome used to be dipped on only it could get inside the manifold and come apart and shard into the manifold and cause issues. when electroplating is used there is no chance at it coming off into the manifold because it is basically molded onto the surface by electricity and static really. you really have nothing to worry about unless you went to a shop that did this stuff for the first time, my shop has been around for awhile and does mainly nasa stuff and other aerospace and such work.

I can vouch for you on that. The chrome is definitely part of the metal now, not merely a coating on the surface.

That's my girl's brand new G35, she just got it last week Only had 100 miles on it when I took those pictures...gorgeous and fast Makes me want a new car...

My headlight ballasts are mounted to the frame underneath the headlight assemblies, completely hidden.
My foglight ballasts are mounted up and behind the foglights to the frame, also completely hidden.
